TOWNSHIP OF UPPER

MASTER PLAN REEXAMINATION

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a meeting of the Upper Township Planning Board will be held on June 19, 2003 at 7:30 p.m. at the Township Hall, 2100 Tuckahoe Road, Petersburg, New Jersey. 

The purpose of this meeting will be to review and adopt amendments to the Master Plan of the Township of Upper regarding the Pinelands area in Tuckahoe and Petersburg.  The Pineland Commission has conditionally certified the amendments to the Land Use Code (Chapters 19 & 20) adopted by the Upper Township Ordinance 006-2002 on August 26, 2002.  The proposed revisions are required by the Pinelands Commission for the Upper Township Land Use Code to be fully certified.

The Upper Township Planning Board will be discussing golf course design standards and the rezoning of the above referenced lots from the RD (Residential Development Zone) to either the F10 or F25 Zoning Districts.

In addition the planning board will address proposed modifications to the Upper Township Zoning Ordinance relating to the time frame for recertification of mining operations, limitation on home occupations in residential districts, modification of application standards for co-location of communication antennas on existing towers, requesting definition of reserve strip in ordinance, increasing authorized permitted uses in commercial zones, modifications to circulation plan in most recent master plan reexamination and amendment regarding development on unimproved roads.
