  1. A Resolution congratulating Lauren Burch on becoming the International Co-Champion of Free Throw Competitions.

 

  1. Confirming appointments to the Recreation Committee: Lauren Harris as    Cheerleading Coordinator, and Amy Cossaboone as Alternate Cheerleading Coordinator.

 

      3.  Amending Resolution No. 126-2010 entitled Appointing 2010 Season Beach Patrol Personnel.

 

  1. Approving Greater Tuckahoe Area Merchants Association Canoe & Kayak Race.

 

  1. Declaring certain Township property as surplus and authorizing its disposal by sale on an online auction website.

9.  Public Hearing and Final Adoption of Ordinance No. 006-2010, RE:  AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF THAT PAPER STREET KNOWN AS THE ALLEY IN BLOCK 827, ADJACENT TO LOT 3, WITHIN THE TOWNSHIP OF UPPER, COUNTY OF CAPE MAY AND STATE OF NEW JERSEY. 

 

10.  Introduction and First Reading of ORDINANCE NO. 007-2010, RE:  AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER II ENTITLED “ADMINISTRATION”AND CHAPTER V, ENTITLED “PERSONNEL”, OF THE CODE OF UPPER TOWNSHIP TO MERGE CERTAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE RECREATION DEPARTMENT INTO THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND TO CREATE THE DEPARTMENT OF SPORTS AND RECREATIONAL PROGRAMS AND TO ADD OR DELETE TOWNSHIP POSITIONS TO REFLECT TOWNSHIP OPERATIONS.

                                                                               

11.  Introduction and First Reading of ORDINANCE NO.  008-2010, RE: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 028-2009 KNOWN AS THE SALARY ORDINANCE FOR THE CALENDAR 2010.

 

12.  Introduction and First reading of ORDINANCE NO. 009-2010, RE: AUTHORIZING THE USE OF UP TO $90,000.00 FROM THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR ACQUISITION OF AN AMBULANCE CHASSIS AND REFIT EXISTING BODY FOR THE TOWNSHIP OF UPPER, DIVISION OF EMS.
