RESOLUTIONS

 

1.      Declaring “A Day of Prayer in Upper Township”. 

 

      2.  A Resolution to Honor the Memory of Major Reynold Schmidt and remember his   dedication to this community and this nation.

 

      3.  Congratulating employee Rhonda Sharp of the Upper Township Tax Office

           for her winning entry in the Upper Township Safety Award Program for the

           2nd  quarter of  2008.

 

  1. Appointment of Frances Senn as a part-time Clerk Typist to the Upper Township       Clerk’s Office.

 

5.      Authorizing the hiring of Dawn Baldi, Clarence Lauer, Kenneth Lee and Andrew Coping as a Seasonal Skatepark Attendants for the Department of Recreation at Amanda’s Field Skatepark.

 

6.      Appointing James Michael Jones as Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator.

 

7.      Appointing Edward J. Carter as Third Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator.

 

8. Opposing Senate Bill S-1455 concerning the transfer of certain municipal   responsibilities to the counties subject to voter approval.

 

        9.  Resolution authorizing application to the Cape May County 2008 Municipal Public       Improvements Joint Venture Program.  

                                               

      10.  Declaring certain Township property and equipment as surplus and authorizing its  disposal by sale on an online auction website.

 

   11.  Authorizing the reduction of the Performance Bond of Osprey Point Age  Restricted Development for Block 567, Lot 27.

 

  1.  Chapter 159 Resolution for the insertion of a special item of revenue into the 2008 Budget that was not determined at the time of the adoption of the Budget—State of New Jersey Supplemental Emergency Management Program in amount of $5000.00.

  

      13.  Approving the Person-To-Person Transfer of Plenary Retail Consumption License No. 0511-32-005-004 from McIntyre Enterprises, Inc. to S.J.L. Group, LLC for premises known as Yesterday’s, at 316 Roosevelt Blvd., Marmora.         

                                                                             

      14.  Accepting the Annual Stormwater Report and Certification, and authorizing the Mayor to sign and send to the NJ Department of Environmental Protection pursuant to Stormwater Rules.

 

      15.  Accepting the bid of and authorizing the execution of a contract with Coastal Air Service of Panama City, Florida for the 2008 Municipal Gypsy Moth Spraying Program, at a cost of $42.00 per acre or $140,994.00.

 

      16.  Approving the application of the Upper Township Rescue Squad for Highway Coin                    Drops.

 

       17.  Authorizing the Township to enter into a contract and/or issue purchase orders to Computer House, LLC, 740 South Sixth Avenue, Galloway, NJ for various services.
