Employment Opportunities

    The Upper Township Beach Patrol is seeking some new guards for the 2004 season.  Our work setting and competitive starting salary make us an attractive summer career opportunity. Our guards start at $9.50 per hour and we have work out hours from 10 am to 11 am and 4 pm to 6pm. Guards get a 1 hour paid lunch each day. Tryouts will be held June 12 at 11 AM.  Please arrive at 10:30 and  bring  running shoes.

  The test will include :

• 1 mile run 
• 1/2 mile ocean swim
• run-swim combination
• ocean kayak
• surf dash
• interview

boats and paddleboards will be available if candidates wish to try them or demonstrate previous skills.
